BOLD TEXT Hai i need a help.. im doing my final year project in title braille character recognition since braille is different with other character i cant use the normal OCR codings to convert them in english text.. i managed to crop them by finding the brailles grid but then i don't know how to match these cropped original images with the template images... is the any ideas hw i cud do this.. pls help im stuck!

One easy way: minimum absolute differences. Rescale each character so it is the same size as a set of templates (contained in slices of a 3-d matrix). Use BSXFUN to subtract the actual image from all of the templates and sum the absolute values of this. The minimum one is the match.

Yes and what about the above doesn't do that? You get the index corresponding to the letter (1-26, or 52, or however many) and you keep that letter.

please , can i know which dataset you did work in? as i search for braille dataset for recognition task

If you're going to use some program to analyze your braille images, then you must already have braille images obviously. Otherwise why would you be interested in a Braille OCR program?
I think you really meant to ask how he took a sheet of braille and found the bounding box of each individual braille character.
