We will need a lot more information to be able to provide any help. If you are doing optimization, presumably you have some sort of objective function-- how is your objective function defined? In what form (ODE, Simulink, etc.) is your vehicle model?

My objective function is defined as function [Opt]= optimize_hybrid(gaselectricvehicle), However %Run Pattern Search [optscale,Cost]=patternsearch(@Optscale,CalcHEVCost(optscale,gaselectricvehicle,rtp)) is what i used, but i'm getting a lot of errors. Infact i'm cut in between the script. Also, how can i relate the simulink model to mathlab language? because it tells me that the function is undefined. I'm really sure the model is on the matlab path. Or is there any other thing i need to offeset from the engine subsystem and the battery block? Please Help Dr Matt....

I also worked on the hybrid vehicle.
is what you have finished your model?
How you control the battery for charging and discharge compared to the acceleration and braking of the vehicle?
you used any type of electric motor?
is that you can help me to couple blocks: engine, electrical rectifier, chopper, generatrice.
