I know the mathematical process associated with doing this conversion, but I am new to Matlab and don't know how to program it. For example, if given a number 423.032 in base 5, the conversion is (4*5^2)+(2*5^1)+(3*5^0)+(0*5^-1)+(3*5^-2)+(2*5^-3). The answer I get in base ten is 113.136. The program I need to create is for any base n to a base ten number. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
