prev value in a stateflow chart

Stateflow documentation:

...To detect changes, the chart automatically double-buffers these values in local variables, as follows:

var_name_prev Value of data at the beginning of the last time step

var_name_start Value of data at the beginning of the current time step

Question: do I have read access to the buffered variables? I want to use them for calculations inside the stateflow chart.

No, these are internal buffers and not available to the user as of R2024b.

As a workaround, I suggest implementing your own buffers using Local data objects.
