Where can I find learning material about how to program undirected blocks like the ones related to electrical power systems?

I was looking for some reading material/ videos, basically anything that helps me to understand how I could program some custom undirected blocks such as the ones related to power systems where you don't have inputs and outputs defined in advance.

Could anyone direct me to some good sources if you know about them?
