I want to generate a pulse with a frequency between 1KHz and 10KHz in order to move motors

I am using the block "Pulse Generator" from the sources block of simulink, I would like to get 1KHz of frequency which is 0.001 of T(Period), but the period parameter doesn't accept decimal numbers but integers, so what would be the correct way to generate the PWM with that frequency, Im guessing that the sample time is involved here but I dont know how, thank you in advice!

you can use 1/1000 (accepted form) instead of .001.
