How to fix this problem?
legend(sprintfc('%g%n',vars),'Location','bestoutside')

Perhaps use the option northeastoutside (lookup legend doc) ,I am not sure of correct case sensitive in that option

I tried this, but it has the same result. Also the other options won't work right
