Embedded coder support for STM32F303 Nucleo-64

I want to use embedded coder with an STM32F303 Nucleo-64 board. I do not have the option to use another board.

There is no support for this specific Nucleo board listed, but others are supported, such as the F302R8.

There is also support listed for the STM32F3 Series MCUs, and I am hoping this includes the F303.

What is the difference between a board being supported, and just the (range of) MCU?

Is it possible for a user to create the board support based on the MCU support available in embedded coder? Could I, for example, modify the Nucleo-F302R8 board support into the F303 board support? Or is this something mathworks has to do?
