Mulitplying a matrix by a function to get a function output

How do I multiply a matrix by a time dependent function so that the output is a time dependent function.

For example: Say that the function I need to plot is u(t)=P*n(t) where P is a 5x5 matrix and n(t) is a time dependent function. u(t) needs to be one output dependent on time.
