How to access mounted folder on server through Matlab?

Hello! I am doing a ssfs command "sshfs -o idmap=user xxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.de:xxxxxx /hom/xxxxxxx/mnt/hpcwork " I am mounting a folder on a server on my computer. I am trying to access it by Matlab but I am not able to access it. I have attached a picture for how the fold icon looks in Matlab. I am able to access the folder through the terminal but I am not able to access it by Matlab. HPC work is the folder that is mounted and has all my files but Matlab is not able to open it and claims that it is not a folder.
