Impulse Response with sweep

Hi, I want to calculate the impulse response with a sweep from 20 to 20k hz. I produce that sweep and then i record it. After that, i want with that recording and the original sweep sound, obtain the impulse response. The problem is that i have to synchronise both signals. I dont know which method of synchronization use. Thanks a lot for your help!
