How do I define an initial rectangular active contour shape under specific dimensions?

So far, I have used active contours like region_seg or activecontour commands. They usually start with a circular shape where it expands to segment the foreground from background.

I need a way to define this initial shape to be a rectangular of certain dimensions.

Any idea?
