Hello all: my release is 2018a. when I use simulation data inspector to log and compare simulation data, I found It start automatically when simulation starts. In many scenes the simulation will last for very long time, maybe several hours or one day, espceically in real time simulation based on Speedgoat. so I want to find the functions, that SDI can be triggerred to start and stop, or the log time range can be setted manually. Can SDI support it or any roadmap? Thank you very much.

There are several options to solve your problem. Carefully check the setting in Model Configuration Parameters: Data Import/Export Pane
  1. I want to find the functions, that SDI can be triggerred to start and stop
You can stop the streaming of SDI and just log the data into workspace from the configuration settings. After the Simulation is finished, import data into SDI manually. Or use this option to record data in SDI automatically when simulation is finished or paused.
or the log time range can be setted manually
In "Save options" at the end of the pane select "Save simulation output as single object" and define time range in "Logging intervals". With this Simulink will log data for that interval only.
