How can I find the local maximas in a set of data? Is there a command for local maxima? Thanks...

I don't have the signal processing toolbox. Is there another way? Thanks.

See Walter Roberson's answer. There are a myriad of ways to do it yourself or through the file exchange without the signal processing toolbox. If your data is noisy, it won't be as easy, but should still be very doable.
