Hi,
I understand that you would like to know about wavread() function and input argument/datatype ‘native’.
You may note that wavread() was removed from MATLAB and you should be able to use audioread() as replacement for wavread(). The last release that had wavread() was R2015a.
Syntax for audioread() :
[y,Fs] = audioread(__, dataType);
It returns sampled data in the data range corresponding to the dataType of 'native' or 'double and can include input arguments such as filename and samples.
Example:
[y,Fs] = audioread(filename,'native');%dataType ‘native’
This returns audio data in the native format of the file.
