Creating Multiwindow Apps in MATLAB 2016b

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create an app with a popup dialog box (multi window app). I have found a link https://de.mathworks.com/help/matlab/creating_guis/creating-multiwindow-apps-in-app-designer.html, but unfortunately, the option "App input arguments" is not available in the 2016b version.

Can anyone help me here? I would like to know, how to call the dialog box from the main app?

You can take a look at this File Exchange submission which does something similar and should work for 16a and 16b releases of App Designer:
