hi sir, can I know how to make/feed the input of extracted intensity pixels in neural network.as far as I am concerned, the extracted pixels are in row,column.then how to make it as input if I have more 6 patterns. pls explain the techniques.thanks for ur help!

extracted_pixels = YourArray( sub2ind( size(YourArray), RowList, ColumnList ) );

It does not have to be in matrix form, but you did say the pixels were in row, column form which does tend to imply matrix form, as otherwise you would only have one index.
The above code works for multiple indices. Example,
extracted_pixels = YourArray( sub2ind( size(YourArray), [2 7 8], [1 1 4] ) )
would extract (2,1) and (7,1) and (8,4)

sir,I get u have said.However, i m not looking for the extracted pixel.i just want to know how to make the 20x20 pixels as a input of a vector so that this input can be used to be trained in neural network.thanks

How does a pixel have an orientation and scale?
