Why doesn’t simulink real-time 2017b fail to burn bootable cd for target pc?

Hi, I am trying to move from simulink real-time 2016b to 2017b and am trying to produce a bootable CD to run the kernel on a target pc.
Unfortunately whenever I try create a bootable cd or network boot (or any other method) I fail. I have configured all target pc settings to be same as 2016b (which worked fine) but when I push create CD, a please wait fiaglog flashes up, the progress bar fills but then no CD is burnt.
I have tried to create the cd using command line method too and that states an image has been created successfully but then doesn’t give me the option to burn cd as indicated in the help files.
Can anyone provide any help as to why I can’t create the bootable cd I need?
Many thanks Sid

I think we had a similar problem. If I remember correctly the problem was the size of the "bootable" OS. With the new version it exceed a limit that is related to the floppy disk size (1.44 MB) (The bootable disc is somehow restricted to this "standard").
The workaround we are using now is that we start from a USB-Stick.
