Modelling a flow meter for water being pumped from 'A' to 'B'

Hi,
I am modelling a water pumping station but am having some issues with the flow meters. I am measuring the flow from a pumping station to a reservoir 28km away. The flow meter I am using is a 'hydraulic flow rate sensor' and I am using signal output port 'Q'. I want to measure the flow using SI units of Ml/D (megalitres per day) however the flow sensor appears to have the SI unit set to m3/s. Is there a way to change this?
I have looked into adding constants into equations to convert to Ml/D and have tried to change the SI unit in the code but nothing seems to work.
Thanks in advance.
Martin

Hi Martin,
One Mega Liter per Day translates to 0.0115740741 cubic meter per second. Since this is a direct conversion, you could consider multiplying the signal values with this constant (in form of a gain block or something) and then ensuring that you maintain the same units in further calculations within the model.
You can use the PS Gain block to multiple the constant value ( PS Gain ). You may also use the converter blocks from ( PS-S converter ) and ( S-PS converter ).
Thanks,
Arvind
