This code requires a release from R14 to R2010b with Video and Image Processing Blockset. As of R2011a, that product no longer existed and the Computer Vision Toolbox was introduced that mostly used vision as a prefix instead of viplib
The line of code that is failing first, viplibgetdemodata is just checking to be sure that the file named viptrain.avi exists in the appropriate directory. That file still exists in current versions under toolbox/vision/visiondata/viptrain.avi which is on the default path, so as long as you have the computer vision toolbox installed you can use

That would get you past that statement, but you would then fail on the first viplib.* function reference. A number of those could be converted to vision.* function references, but some such as viplib.ShapeInserter did become vision.ShapeInserter but that function no longer exists with insertShape() [no prefix] being used instead.

R2013a is not within the range of releases that I noted as being required.
Just comment out the call to viplibgetdemodata and the check of status immediately after that to get you past the first problem. For the other problems you will need to either update the code to use the equivalent vision calls or else you will need to install an old version of MATLAB to use the old library.

I am using R2016a and I am getting error when using "viplibobjtracker". Can anyone please help me to resolve the issue?

If you are using a commercial / standard / professional license, or you are using an Academic license that is not restricted, then the best thing to do is to go into your Mathworks Central account and download any release in the range R14 to R2010b with Video and Image Processing Blockset, and run the code with the old release.
That would be easier than hunting through the documentation comparing the functions that were last available 8 years ago to the current functions to figure out how to rewrite the code.
You could probably hire a consultant to update the code. I do not have any interest in doing more work on this than I already have done.
