For a new project we are considering using Simulink Test to create test sequences to verify modelled system behaviours against requirements in DOORS. I have prototyped creating test cases already and can see the ease of creating these scripts. As we move to HIL testing, running plant model on real time hardware etc. we have made an order for a speedgoat system. We have though been using National Instruments LabVIEW RT systems for many years for running our models in model based test equipment. There is a lot more functionality we would like to use in this NI based test equipment than just the HIL part.
Is there any possibility that Simulink Test sequences can be somehow moved to an National Instruments RT system?
Also, is there any support by Simulink Real Time of National Instruments systems planned, or is this only ever to be speedgoat?
Thanks,
Andy

Simulink Test supports ASAM XIL standard that enables test automation with compliant third-party test benches:
Simulink Real-Time with Speedgoat hardware is the preferred real-time test solution for MATLAB/Simulink users, and provides best experience for test automation with Simulink Test:

Simulink Test allows you to develop and execute simulation-based tests for your Simulink models and these tests can be run with real-time hardware as described in this link:
This question ultimately boils down to whether you could run your models on the other real-time target. Out of the box, Simulink Real-Time currently only comes with turnkey support for Speedgoat target computers. However, there is documentation on how to set-up a custom real-time target computer as seen here:
Additionally, this documentation page provides some useful information regarding the hardware drivers that Simulink Real-Time supports:
