wavelet transform to find fault location

Hi, I wish to use wavelet transform in matlab to find fault location in transmission line. I have simulated a three phase fault in matlab and load the signal into wavelet toolbox after modal transformation.
My problem now is that in wavelet toolbox, after I have chosen a mother wavelet and details, how should I obtain the time details of the fault? Is it just choose 2 first peaks from the waveform and calculate the time in between them? I need the time details to input into the formula so that I can get fault location. Please help me. Thank you.

Please tell us which wavelet transform you are using, nondecimated discrete, discrete (decimated), or continuous
use WMM technique which is available in wavelab toolbox

Perhaps you should use findpeaks() to help you out. Just a thought.
