How to do generate a random road profile using gaussian distribution in matlab?

I have generated a random road profile by adding different sine and cosine waves in Simulink, but I want my x-axis to be in distance domain rather than time domain. If somebody knows how to generate random road rather by Gaussian or normal distribution, it would be helpful
