i am training ANN and i want to write the Epoch where the best validation occurred into the workspace. what code can do that?

I have written the following code % writing into the workspace Table = zeros(5,3); A = 1:5; c = d(i); m = 1; for i = 1:length(A) y1 = c; % c = hiddenLayerSize; y2 = performance; x = ? %value of epochs where the best validation occurred y = [y1 x y2]; Table(m,1:3) = y; m = m + 1; end please, what code will get the Epoch out. see the attached.

The training record TR contains the complete time history of all 3 subsets.

 [ net tr ] = train( net,input,target);

 tr = tr    % no semicolon

thanks it actually helped me to get to where am going. the code I used to achieve my goal is this: x = getfield(tr,'best_epoch') Now my next challenge is to get the time corresponding to this epoch. kindly assist. thanks once again
