Is 'inputsinglescan' a single sample of the sample rate?

Hi there, i've some doubt about the inputsinglescan in the DAQ toolbox, for example, if the sample rate of the NI device object is 1000, then when I use the inputsinglescan to get input data like this: step1. data = inputsinglescan step2. loop step1 for 100 repeats then should I get 100 samples in the data? Thanks
