Unable to change axes properties using GUIDE

Hello.

I am creating a GUI application. I was told to use the guide command to do this. I've added an axes item as a plot has to be shown but I have to change many properties in the figure (limits, colors, and so on). If I try to modify the values from the property inspector, when I run the app it uses the default settings and the changes do not take effect.

The app should update the plot when a different function is chosen but the settings are going to be always the same so it's easier for me just to change them manually. There is no menu toolbar when I launch the app, so I can't access "Edit - Figure Properties" like I usually do when I plot something. Is it possible to do this kind of modifications without code? I'm not new using MATLAB, but I am in building this kind of applications.

I've changed the NextPlot property so it is not Replace any more and it seems to work properly. Let's hope it stays this way.
