I am using psychtoolbox with Matlab 2017a.
I get error at the beginning when initiating the screen.
OS is windows 10, graphic card is Intel® HD Graphics 520 :: 4.4.0 - Build 21.20.16.4627.
From the log file :

PTB-INFO: Measured monitor refresh interval from beamposition = 16.671140 ms [59.983902 Hz].
PTB-INFO: Will use beamposition query for accurate Flip time stamping.

PTB-INFO: this will cause trouble for timing and integrity of visual stimuli or not. You might be just fine, or you could be in trouble.
PTB-INFO: Use external measurement equipment and independent procedures to verify reliability of timing if you care about proper timing.

WARNING: Couldn't compute a reliable estimate of monitor refresh interval! Trouble with VBL syncing?!?
----- ! PTB - ERROR: SYNCHRONIZATION FAILURE ! ----
One or more internal checks (see Warnings above) indicate that synchronization
of Psychtoolbox to the vertical retrace (VBL) is not working on your setup.

Hi!
I have the same problem but it is even more weird. I run correctly one instance of my code. Then maybe I get an error in the middle of the run and it stops. I clear all varaibles and start the same code again and I get this error first time I call PsychImaging (first time I didn't get error there). I restart Matlab and it works fine (just for the first run).
Any help on this?
Thanks!

Miguel Ángel : does your code just happen to use GPU ?
