import from excel, do the search then export to excel

I want to import two sheets from excel do the modification and searches I want export to a third sheet in the document

How can I import and save the answers to an exported sheet ?

You can get data from Excel files using "xlsread" or "readtable". There is also the Import Data tool, if you would prefer to select the data manually, and maybe generate code to do it automatically conforming to your selections.

Once you do your searching and processing, you can output to an Excel file with "xlswrite", or "writetable" if your data is a table.

There are various options for all of those to specify which file and sheet names to use.
