Hello,
I am using Matlab 2016a on Mac. So far I have been exporting .fig files as eps to use them in a LaTeX document and I never had any issues. But this time I need to use the .fig files in a Word document. For that, I need to save/export them as .pdf files. So I tried saving them and exporting them as .pdf files but when I opened the pdf file, the figure is cropped. It doesn't show the axes at all.I have attached a screenshot of the pdf file. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there any example on the syntax of this command?

Never mind. I did a quick search and found this link ( https://github.com/altmany/export_fig/blob/master/README.md ) posted by Walter Roberson. Thanks for your reply though! Let me try and I will let you know if I hit roadblock!

It worked well. Thanks again! Just a last quick question--is it possible to export the .fig file to a specific folder instead of the directory that you are in?

Yes, just specify the full filename with the folder prepended.
