What is the meaning of this syntax:
.'*
for example:
A = [1 4 2 5 6;
2 3 4 5 6];
W = [2;
3];
B = W.'*A

W.' is the tranpose of W, so the whole thing, B=W.'*A, means multiply the transpose of W with A.
