Matlab License activation issue

My laptop was damaged. Now I have got a new one. I want to install Matlab on the new laptop, but was told that I need to deactivate the licence on the damaged laptop, which I can't do. Please help me the solve the problem. Thanks.

This is the official Matlab forum and most of the answers are given by voluntary Matlab users. The only way to get an activation key is asking the admin of your university or buying a license from MathWorks.

i have issue related activaion key. i have installed matlab, put activation and activation is compete, but sill when click on application, it asks for same activation procedure again.
