How to interface analog sensor output to Simulink model running on Raspberry Pi?

Hello,
I've read the tutorial on using the Raspberry Pi along with an A/D converter to acquire data from an analog sensor and display it via Matlab. Separately, I've seen the tutorial on executing a Simulink model in real-time on the Raspberry Pi while interfacing with the library blocks that come with the RaspberryPi/Simulink board support package. My question is - is it possible to input acquired analog sensor data directly into a Simulink model while it is running in real-time? I am looking to apply a digital filter (which will be designed in Simulink) to the analog sensor input.
