Connect Matlab to Stepper Controller

Hello,

I have a stepper controller SMCI47 and I plan to control a Stepper motor depending on an image processed in Matlab. To control the motor I will use the software NanoPro, already designed for this controller.

I would like to know if it possible to :

1-import an image given by a camera( a circle and a point in 2D);

2-process it using Matlab;

3-export this information to the program NanoPro ;

4-do this continuously till the point is in the center of the circle.
