system identification transfer function/statespace

Hi, I managed to obtain tf for my system. however, when I move the tf to workspace and apply step input, the output doesn't follow the same characteristics as the real system. i.e. the real system needs 10 sec to reach the value while the identified needs about 1e9 seconds to reach 1/4th of the value is it something I am doing wrong or what ?
