No SPI block in embedded coder ti c2000 support package for F2837xD?

In the support package for ti c2000 processors, there is a SPI communication block for some but not all processors. I want to use SPI communication with the F2837xD, but it doesn't have this block. Is there no SPI functionality available for this processor? If I want to make the SPI block myself, how would you suggest I do this? How can I share this work with the community afterwards?
