how i optimize the fuzzy membership function using pso? i already read lots of paper but none of them clearly written how i initialize the program and how i relate the main program with initialize program?

i have 3 inputs and one output,output is fault location in transmission line,and inputs are impedance of three phases,how i determine the fitness of each particle,and what is the formula?
