How to use DLL file in MATLAB

i want to use the function available in a dll file..
HID.dll
to use usb communication. i have read about the loadlibrary function. but don't know how to use this. whenever i use loadlibrary(hid.dll)
it shows error..
can anyone one how to use the dll file functions..

loadlibrary('hid.dll', 'hid.h')
However, you should probably not be calling the HID routines yourself. See http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/25035-matlab-and-hid-communication
