Hi,
we run MAtlab R2008B successively on three Solaris 10 but MAtlab R2008B doesn't work on one Solaris 10 MAtlab R2008B stop with this message: segmentation Fault
MAtlab R2008B works when the release of Solaris 10 is: uname -a: SunOS musun09090 5.10 Generic_138888-01 sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.10 Generic January 2005
MAtlab R2008B doesn't work when the release of Solaris 10 is: uname -a: SunOS musun12001 5.10 Generic_147440-26 sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise Oracle Corporation SunOS 5.10 Generic Patch January 2005
this last version is it be compatible with MAtlab R2008B ? Or do you have an idea why MAtlab R2008B doesn't work on Solaris 5.10 with the Oracle Corporation Generic Patch ?

Olivier, system requirements are located here. For older release, it is under "Other Resources" "Previois Releases". The last tested UNIX environment is for R2009b SP1. For R2008b, Solaris 10 is the only tested OS - including patches named in the document from the system requirements page. You might know all that - it is just a summary.
The issue you are running into could be related to installation of the Solaris kernel patch 144500-19 in Update 10 for Solaris 10. Please get in touch with MathWorks installation support referring to "article 000019053" in order to receive a patch.
