Why doesn't Simulink support Enumerations in Packages?

I really like the package feature of MATLAB. I'm wondering why Simulink doesn't allow use of Enumerations stored in packages. This requires us to maintain separate folders to hold enumeration classes and increases the possiblity of naming conflicts.
