Regularized multinomial logistic regression

I'm using MATLAB R2016a in windows 10. I've seen that there are functions to solve the multinomial logistic regression, but not the regularized version (on the other hand there are the functions for the regularized binomial logistic regression). Is there a function or a packet to solve the regularized multinomial logistic regression? I tried with glmnet, but it doesn't work (I have crash problems probably because of the not suppoerted MATLAB version).

I have the exact same problem and can't find an answer (running R2016b)... Anyone able to help with this?
