can any one tell me top 3 feature extraction algorithm for facial feature extraction in facial emotion recognition

No, no-one can tell you that. "top" is not an objective criteria.

For example, "What are the top 3 automobiles?" In that, does "top" mean "the highest fuel economy in highway driving at 90 km per hour?", or does it mean "lowest fatality rate per 10000 km driven", or does it mean "best selling on the Marshall Islands", or does it mean "shortest turning radius", or ... ?

If you can define exactly what you mean by "top", then you can study research papers and hope to find some that used the same test measures that you decide on. But that is nothing to do with MATLAB.
