Where do I find the MATLAB Release Notes?

Most Recent Release

The release notes for the most recent release of MATLAB and other MathWorks products can be found in the Release Notes documentation page.

Past 4 Years of Releases

The release notes from the past 4 years can be found in two ways:

1. Go to the Archived MathWorks Documentation. Click the desired release and locate the "Release Notes" button (location of this button will vary depending on release)
2. Navigate to URL https://www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R20XXx/relnotes/index.html, where "R20XXx" is replaced with the desired release from the past 4 years (ex. R2023a).

Releases More Than 4 Years Old

If would like release notes for a release of MATLAB more than 4 years old and you have a current subscription to MathWorks Software Maintenance Service (SMS), you can reach out to MathWorks Technical Support to request release notes.
