how do I delete pre-existing jobs in parpool from remote cluster

Hi,

I am running a code in parallel on a remote cluster. I access the cores with

POOL = parpool('local',8);

but I keep on getting this message:

Starting parallel pool (parpool) using the 'local' profile ... [Warning: Found 1 pre-existing communicating job(s) created by pool that are pending or queued. You can use 'delete(myCluster.Jobs)' to remove all jobs created with profile local. To create 'myCluster' use 'myCluster = parcluster('local')'.] connected to 8 workers.

When I try to follow the suggestion in the warning I get another warning saying that they can't switch down the pre-existing job. I also tried with

p = gcp; delete(p.Jobs);

but it doesn't really work.

try delete(p.Cluster.Jobs)

Have you tried to exit Matlab and start over?
