How to make the acquisition and processing at the same time

I just reinstalled the whole system, then it comes a problem for my image acquisition. Before the preview function is fast enough as the sync signal. Now however, the processing delayed a lot the acquisition time. It seems what before our processing and acquisition is in parallel, but now it is in series. Is there any settings that I should change? I mean for now it looks like the processing and acquisition is waiting for each other, while before it looks like they are doing in the same time. But I did nothing except reinstall the windows 7 and MATLAB from 2014b to 2016a. Thanks.

Did you possibly forget to re-install the parallel computing toolbox?

It would be helpful to have more information about the issue you are facing. For example, do you use Parallel Computing Toolbox in your workflow? can you provide a sample code snippet that will help to understand the issue? what is the actual performance vs expected performance(may be measured in the time taken)?
