Hi I am using Matlab r2016a student version for more than 4 months and everything runs smoothly. However today everytime I launches matlab it generates an error log file in my Recycle Bin like in the following picture:
In the file it says: log4j:ERROR A "org.apache.log4j.varia.NullAppender" object is not assignable to a "org.apache.log4j.Appender" variable. log4j:ERROR The class "org.apache.log4j.Appender" was loaded by log4j:ERROR [com.mathworks.matlabserver.connector.api.DirectLoadURLClassLoader@6116c396] whereas object of type log4j:ERROR "org.apache.log4j.varia.NullAppender" was loaded by [sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader@538787fd]. log4j:ERROR Could not instantiate appender named "stdout".
Beside that I don`t receive any other warning or error message in Matlab.
This happens after I modified the file "lcdata.xml' under matlabroot\bin\ to let the editor correctly display Chinese characters without changing the user locale in Windows, and I successfully did that. I didn`t make any other changes to matlab.
Can anyone tells me what was causing this error log and how to fix that?
Thanks!
