Hi,
I've made a GUI in which I'm continuously acquiring data from a fpga development kit. I want to do a real time data plot in my existing GUI. I was able to perform real time data plotting using the drawnow function in a separate figure window but want to do the real time plotting in my GUI. Can anyone please kindly help me with this ?
Thanks,

There is no difference between doing real-time updates in a different figure or doing it in the same figure. You still access the appropriate graphics handles, update the appropriate properties such as XData and YData or CData, and then drawnow() to permit the screen to be updated.

Hi Walter,
Thanks for your reply. I'm using axes(handles.axes2), then I'm using the plot() function. But this is plotting in another figure window. Am I doing something wrong here ?
Thanks,

Hi Walter,
Thanks, I figured out that I was not updating the xaxis and the yaxis of the axes using the handles.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Is there an example of continuously updating a plot (polarplot would be nice) in a GUI?
