Can you use symbolic variables in Cody CourseWork questions.

Currently, I am getting the error "Undefined function 'syms' for input arguments of type 'char'."
The code works fine in MATLAB, but I'm having trouble transferring it to cody

Did you make sure that you have included symbolic math toolbox in your course? I had the same problem and in the end the symbolic functionality worked fine in the Cody course.

If you're an instructor trying to add a product to your MATLAB Grader course, see this documentation.
If you're a student trying to use a product your instructor hasn't added to your course, ask them to add it to the course.

Also please clarify - are you using Cody or MATLAB Grader?
