Is it possible to simulate a road traffic scenario in Simulink?

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could answer my question in regard to the possibility of simulating a scenario in Simulink where random number of moving vehicles (less than 10) passing couple of intersections and transmitting some data to fixed receivers mounted on off-street poles?

I need to find out whether Simulink is capable of doing this simulation for me or not. What I need to measure in my research though is the rate of successful data transmission rate depending on vehicle's speed, whether condition, ambient noise level, typical urban Electromagnetic interference, etc.
