When I write to excel some of my data in two sheets with different names, it is always including a blank first sheet "sheet1" followed by my sheets

I am creating two excel sheets with different names and writing data into those sheets. However, the created excel book has three sheets and the first one is a blank one with name "sheet1". The second and third ones are my named sheets. How to get rid of the first sheet automatically.
