How do I use Cuckoo Search Algorithm?

Hi I have downloaded the files shared by Xin-she yang, the person behind cuckoo search algorithm.
I wish to use it to find the shortest path in a network. However, I'm not sure where to place my generated path codes in his cuckoo search functions. Can anyone please advise me on where I should look and work on?
